OUR DARE OFFICERS MEET OUR DARE OFFICERS We are pleased to introduce our DARE Officers – Constables Keli Corpse and Diana Kestle - for the 2009-2010 school year.
In September 2009, Constable Keli Corpse replaced Constable Dean McIntosh who completed his assignment in DARE. A DARE Officer is selected by representatives of the DARE Board and the Brantford Police Service for a three-year posting. Constable Diana Kestle, a 24-year veteran of the Brantford Police Service, begins her second year delivering DARE. The school community is already acquainted with Diana in her former role as School Safety Officer. She also had an integral role in introducing elementary school students to the Children’s Safety Village. Diana is pleased to see the familiar faces of students and educators. Keli Corpse originally began his policing career in Toronto, but has been a member of the Brantford Police Service since December 2008. Prior to entering policing, Keli played professional hockey in the American and East Coast Hockey Leagues and in Europe. While playing in the U.S., Keli volunteered his time working with young people. He looks forward to meeting everyone in the school community, especially his grade six students. DARE OFFICER ALUMNI Constable Dean McIntosh is the newest addition to the DARE Officer alumni roster. Officers Steve Sumsion, Brad Loveday, Craig Kennedy Mark Stachurski, Philip Minotti, Steve Bebee and Jaime Price are former members of this dedicated group of professionals. |
